Our three major initiatives:

• 1000 Plants and Animals: To sequence the genomes of at least one thousand plants and animals
• RNA-Seq: To analyze gene expression of certain biological objects in specific conditions using RNA-Seq technology
• Disease Genomics: To identify the full range of somatic mutations, including point mutations on a genome-wide basis
