High-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics technology can greatly reduce the cost and time of BAC library sequencing. At BGI, we sequence plasmids and organellular DNA, including but not limited to bacterial artificial chromosomes (BAC), fosmids, and chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes.
